One can easily become addicted to the Chili Garlic Noodles at Ming, an upscale Indo-Chinese restaurant. Essentially lo mein noodles at Indian spice levels, the garlic and chili oil packs an irresistible wallop. With chicken and egg, I couldn’t stop eating  these noodles as sweat beaded on my brow from the chili. Ming’s menu includes a wonderfully spicy-sour Corriander Soup, Cauliflower Manchurian, and Chili Chicken Hakka Style.  “Hakka” refers to the Chinese ethnic group from Guangdong and Fujian provinces that settled the original Chinatowns of Calcutta, India. Chinese Hakka dishes met Indian masalas and Indo-Chinese cuisine was born.

Ming is in the same shopping center as the “Big Cinemas” multiplex showing the latest Bollywood hits. Moghul, on the other side of Ming, is one of Oak Tree Road’s fanciest restaurants. Ming is also relatively upscale for the area, with prices to match. Moghul and Ming are owned by the same group that runs Mehndi in Morristown.
