Thailand Restaurant

Good food and friendly service in an old highway diner. When you remove the counter from a traditional NJ diner, there isn’t much room for tables, so you might have to wait for a table or booth to open up at Clark’s Thailand restaurant. But that’s part of the charm of this place. And the “exotic, authentic” Thai cuisine is very good. Mie Grob (crispy rice noodles with  shrimp and tamarind sauce) is a good starter for kids – like Rice Krispies for dinner. Fried calamari with Thai dipping sauce is excellent. Thailand’s Pad Thai (“Our Best seller in NJ, USA”) is very good, fresh, on the sweet side. My Goong-Ob-Moe-Din (shrimp with bean thread noodle in a clay pot) was simple, and layered with flavor. Efficient, good-natured service made the wait and bustling space work.
